About

My name is Lisa Illichmann. I am a self-employed business consultant.

My main areas include (but are not limited to) communication coaching (English), and head hunting (primarily high-tech and financial services). I am based in Southern Austria, just north of the Italian boarder, where it is incredibly cold in the winter and generally wet and sticky in the summer. I am surrounded by hay fields, high tech companies and lots of different business vying for a piece of the CEE cake.

It’s a great place to live and work - especially if corporate expansion is part of your daily bread, and (getting to the hay field part) if you like horses.

This weblog is, as I am, a work-in-progress. It is a portfolio of my professional interests and observations and an outlet for my mental-meanderings around horses and riding (my passion). It’s sort of a foray into the inner workings of a person with many thoughts, contemplations and opinions, however unfortunately lacking the writing ability to smartly articulate them.

You’ll have to bear with me.

At any rate, this blog is a platform for me to share my thoughts with the world, in what I hope will be a fairly productive, meaningful and lucid fashion.

Lisa, I, Scooter Grubb, am the author of “OCEAN Syndrome”. It was a tongue n cheek piece that several magazines turned down but thanks to the net and my wife sharing it with a few friends, it has now been around the world several times. Just google it, as I have, and to my astonishment, it has even been translated into other languages. I hope you and aall of yours have enjoyed it.
Take care,
Scooter

It’s great, Scooter. A wonderful disease :-)
